The Regulations for the Editorial Committee for the Journal of the Robotics Society of JapanEnacted on May 25, 1984 by the Board of Directors Revised on October 18, 1991 by the Board of Directors Revised on July 12, 2000 by the Board of Directors
(Establishment) Article 1 The editorial committee for the journal shall be established in accordance with Article 42 of the Articles of Incorporation of this Society.
(Purpose and Business) Article 2 The editorial committee for the journal (hereinafter referred to as the gCommitteeh) shall perform the following businesses with the purpose of the publication of the journal: 1. Planning and preparation of editing; 2. Review of contributed paper (including full papers, academic or technical papers, commentary papers, short papers and discussions); 3. Review of general articles (including essays, outlooks, commentaries, chat room, materials, courses, lectures, round-table talk, book reviews, doctoral thesis introductions, bulletins, international conference reporting, event reporting, farewell lecture reporting, Q&A, readerfs columns and free@talking room); and 4. Other matters related to the editing of the journal.
(Chairman and Vice-Chairman) Article 3 The Committee shall have one (1) committee chairman and one (1) committee vice-chairman. In accordance with Article 43 of the Articles of Incorporation of this Society, the President shall delegate the duties to the committee chairman elected from the Directors through the resolution of the Board of Directors. This shall also apply to the delegation of the committee vice-chairman. The term of office of the committee chairman and the committee vice-chairman shall be one (1) year.
(Committee Members) Article 4 The Committee shall be comprised of not more than forty five (45) committee members elected from the members of this Society. The committee chairman shall make recommendations for the committee members and the President shall delegate the duties to such committee members upon approval of the Board of Directors. The Committee may have a few Managers. The committee chairman shall elect the Managers from the committee members and delegate the duties to such Managers.
(Term of Office) Article 5 The term of office for the committee members shall be two (2) years.
(Convocation) Article 6 The committee chairman shall convene the Committee.
(Paper Review Subcommittee) Article 7 For the purpose of review of contributed papers set forth in the Article 2-2, the Committee shall establish within the Committee the Paper Review Subcommittee. The Regulations Concerning Paper Review Subcommittee shall be separately stipulated.
Supplementary Provisions 1. These Regulations shall be implemented from May 25, 1984. 2. These Regulations shall be revised and implemented from October 18, 1991. 3. These Regulations shall be revised and implemented from July 12, 2000. |
