Article 1 In principle, the membership fee for every year (January
to December) shall be collected from the regular members, student members and
supporting members by the end of December of the preceding year.
Article 2 No membership fee shall be collected from honorary
members.
Article 3 The payment notice for the membership fee of the next
year shall be sent to the members in October every year.
2. A collection letter shall be sent to the members in arrears in July,
September and November of the current year and the next year.
Article 4 If a delinquency in payment continues for 12 months or
longer, the delivery of the journal shall be suspended.
2. The advance notice of the suspension of journal delivery shall be sent in
the first November after the delinquency in payment.
3. In spite of the notice above, if the membership fee is not paid, the journal
delivery shall be suspended from the next year.
4. If the delinquent amount is paid after the suspension of journal delivery,
the past issues of the journal within one (1) year from the suspension shall be
sent if sufficient stock exists.
Article 5 A notice of expulsion shall be sent in November of the
second year after the delinquency in payment of the membership fee.
2. If the membership fee is not paid in spite of the above, the last collection
letter shall be sent and the notice of expulsion shall be resent in January of
the third year after the delinquency.
3. If the membership fee is not paid in spite of the above, the list of the
members expected to be expelled shall be reported by the Board of Directors to
the General Meeting in March of the third year after the delinquency and the
Board of Directors shall request the resolution for the expulsion.
4. If the expelled member makes an application for readmission within one (1)
year, he/she shall be granted readmission upon the payment of the delinquent
membership fee and the annual membership fee for the year of re-admission. The
application for readmission after the passing of one (1) year from expulsion
shall be permitted upon the payment of the amount equivalent to the unpaid
membership fee (the membership fee of the closest two (2) years since the
expulsion), the admission fee and the annual membership fee of the year of the
application of readmission.
5. The delivery of the past issues of the journal at the time of readmission is
not guaranteed.
Article 6 If a delinquent member submits a notice of withdrawal,
the membership fee for the years in which the journals were delivered shall be
invoiced.
Article 7 The journals that are to be issued after admission shall
be sent to new members. However, if there is any additional stock of past
issues of the journals for the year of admission, such may be sent to a new
member who is interested.
Article
8 The term gjournalh in the above Articles may be read as gEuropean
language journalh and may be applied accordingly.
Supplementary
Provisions
1.
These Regulations shall be implemented from July 24, 1995.
2. These Regulations shall be revised and implemented from February 16, 2000.
3. These Regulations shall be revised and implemented from October 25, 2001.
4. These Regulations shall be revised and implemented from March 10, 2004.
