The Regulations for the International Committee of the Robotics Society of Japan

(Purpose)
Article 1  In accordance with Article 42 of the Articles of Incorporation of this Society, the International Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “Committee”) shall be established for the control of matters related to the international meeting under the Sponsorship and Co-sponsorship of this Society and for the smooth and continuous promotion and performance of the international meeting.

(Business)

Article 2   The Committee shall perform the following operations:

1. Planning and programming of the international meeting under the Sponsorship, review of the purpose, theme, type, period, size, etc., thereof and making proposals to the Board of Directors;

2. Determination whether the participation in the international meeting under the Co-sponsorship is appropriate or not, review of the type of participation and support and making proposals to the Board of Directors; and

3. Handling of other matters related to the international meeting.

(Chairman and Vice-Chairman)
Article 3   The Committee shall have one (1) committee chairman and one (1) committee vice-chairman. In accordance with Article 43 of the Articles of Incorporation of this Society, the President shall delegate the duties to the committee chairman elected from the Directors through the resolution of the Board of Directors. This shall also apply to the delegation of the committee vice-chairman. The term of office of the committee chairman and the committee vice-chairman shall be two (2) years.

(Committee Members)
Article 4   Each Director in charge of business, planning or accounting and the regular members delegated by the President shall be the committee members. The term of office of a committee member shall be two (2) years and a committee member may remain in his/her office for the second term.

(Convocation)
Article 5   The committee chairman shall convene the Committee

(International Executive Committee)
Article 6   The Committee may form within the Committee the International Executive Committee for the purpose of the operation of the international meeting under the Sponsorship set forth in the Article 2-1.

(Report)

Article 7   The committee chairman shall submit the budget, settlement and activity report concerning the Committee to the Board of Directors and shall obtain approval.


Supplementary Provisions
1. These Regulations shall be implemented from March 2, 1992.
3. These Regulations shall be revised and implemented from July 12, 2000.
