Handling Supplementary Regulations for the Co-sponsorship and Support of International Meetings


Enacted on May 17, 2000 by the Board of Directors

 

 

(Procedures for Approval of Co-sponsorship)
Article 1   The Co-sponsorship of meetings and lectures held internationally shall be reviewed by the International Committee and shall be approved by the Board of Directors.

 

(Conditions for Approval of Co-sponsorship)

Article 2   For the approval of Co-sponsorship, the following conditions shall be satisfied in principle:

(1) To comply with the policy of the foundation of this Society and to provide high value to the participants in the operation;

(2) To provide to this Society the same favorable treatment as the treatment provided to the other Co-sponsorship organizations, when the members of this Society participate in the business;

(3) To include the name and logo of this Society in the printed materials for the meeting information, such as the Call-for-Papers;
(4) To submit the business execution report (such as Proceedings); and

(5) When the payment and receipt of money or the provision of prizes is involved, to submit the budget and settlement report and to allow the Directors of this Society to participate in the communication and coordination of the business as a member of the executive committee, etc.

 

(Provision of Benefit to Co-sponsorship)

Article 3   An advertisement of the meeting may be inserted in the journal of this Society once without charge and may be inserted in the event information section of the journal without charge.

 

(Procedures for Support)
Article 4   The International Committee shall examine the Support of business including meetings and lectures, etc., held internationally by other organizations and shall determine whether the Support shall be approved or not. The result shall be reported to the Board of Directors.

 

(Conditions for Approval of Support)

Article 5   For the approval of Support, the following conditions shall be satisfied in principle:
(1) To comply with the policy of the foundation of this Society and there is no necessity to directly participate in the operation of business;
(2) To provide to this Society the same favorable treatment as the treatment provided to the other Support organizations, when the members of this Society participate in the business; and
(3) To include the name of this Society in the printed materials for the meeting information.

 

(Provision of Benefit to Support)

Article 6   An advertisement of the meeting may be inserted in the event information section of the journal of this Society without charge.

 

Supplementary Provisions

1. These Supplementary Regulations shall be implemented from May 17, 2000.
