Due to the recent advancements on industrial robot technologies, industrial
robots have been introduced to difficult process of product manufacturing
such as product assembly, parts supply, and product inspection. This
special issue attempts to showcase state-of-the-art studies on industrial
robot technology. Emphasis will be given to ``novel algorithms and
theories" and ``novel techniques on application and system integration". We
solicit original and high-quality papers on industrial robot technologies.
We also solicit survey papers that discuss open challenges and
state-of-the-art techniques. Topics of interest include, but are not
limited to:
Motion Planning
Motion Optimization
Kinematics
Force and Tactile Sensing
Visual Sensing
Motion Control
Sensor Fusion
Production Engineering
Data Engineering AI Technologies
Mechanical Design
Human-Robot Interaction

System Integration

should be sent by October 31, 2015 to the office of Advanced Robotics, the
Robotics Society of Japan through the homepage of Advanced Robotics (
https://www.rsj.or.jp/advanced_e/submission). Sample form of the manuscript
as well as the Instruction for Authors are available at the homepage. Also,
